Photography found me in a way I never expected.

My career began in news and video production, where I learned how powerful a single moment can be when it’s preserved through a lens. One day, a friend asked if I would photograph her wedding. I had no idea what I was doing, but something about that day completely captured my heart.
​
Looking back, I can see how many moments in my life have unfolded that way. Opportunities appearing unexpectedly, little nudges that felt too meaningful to ignore. My faith has helped me recognize those quiet “Godwinks” along the way, reminding me not to overlook the small pulls that often lead somewhere beautiful.
​
For years I photographed weddings and loved every minute of the celebration and emotion those days hold.
​
But as life often does, my own story began to shift.
​
I became a mom, and the moments that mattered most changed.
​
The quiet ones. Bedtime snuggles. Backyard laughter. Those little inside jokes and secret handshakes that are yours alone.
​
I’m a homeschool mom to two incredible kids, and our days are filled with books, outdoor adventures, creativity, and the joyful chaos that comes with raising curious little humans.
​
Those everyday moments are a constant reminder of why photographs matter so much.
​
Because the seasons pass quickly, but the memories deserve to last.

Photography isn’t my only love when it comes to storytelling.
I’m also a bit of a marketing nerd. I love the psychology of storytelling, how images and words come together, and how meaningful moments can be preserved and shared in ways that truly connect with people.

It’s a passion that quietly shapes everything I do behind the camera.
FURRY FRIENDS
I’m a total dog person. We have three sweet pups, and if my family would allow it, we would probably have eight. Our dogs are very much part of the family and there’s nothing better than a long walk with a happy pup by your side.
DESIGNING A BEAUTIFUL LIFE
My husband and I feel incredibly grateful for this season of life, raising our kids, homeschooling our little crew, and building a life centered around family.

We absolutely love calling Huntsville home.

For me, it was love at first sight, truly...there were happy tears. From the coffee trails to the thriving art scene, the blend of science, history, and creativity here is something special. Nestled near the Appalachian foothills (which feels a little like my West Virginia roots), this community has a warmth and authenticity that makes it hard to imagine living anywhere else.

Music has always been part of my life.

I sing in our church band on Sundays, and worship music is one of the places where my love for creativity, storytelling, and faith all come together. There’s something powerful about sharing music with people you love.
